The Kalisch Review of 1835 was a joint military maneuver between the Prussian Army and the Russian Imperial Army, held from 12 to 22 September 1835 in Kalisz (then part of the Congress of Poland). It was a public display of Prussian-Russian solidarity following the November Uprising (1830-31), reinforcing their alliance against potential threats.
Kalisch was chosen due to its links with the 1813 Treaty of Kalisch between the two countries, which paved the way for the joint Prussian-Russian pursuit of Napoleon as he retreated from Moscow.
This medal was awarded to one of the participants of the military parade held there.
