Pistole n. d. (1635). Cross of lilies over the small arms of Uri. Rev. St. Martin on horseback, the beggar to his feet. 6.42 g. D.T. 1192. HMZ 2-982b. Fr. 398. Extremely rare in this exceptional quality. Almost uncirculated. In places unregular planchet and weak strike (normal for this type).

The pistoles of Uri with no date (1635) are often heavily cieculated and badly struck. This specimen is much above average and in exceptionally attractive conservation.

The emission of 24'000 pieces is relatively low, however only few coins came into circulation. It was known that three years later a new type would be placed in circulation and the large 5 francs pieces would be withdrawn.
