Empire of Persia, resp. (since 1935) Iran (until 1979). Order of the Crown [Nishân-i-Taj] (1913), 1st class set, manufactured by Arthus-Bertrand in Paris, consisting of:
Breast star, diam. 92.1 mm, 800/000 silver ptly brillanté, ptly gilt and ptly enamelled, slight enamel chipping in the number "2" of the centre ring, with pin, this with combined manufacturers and silver mark "800", with two sidely fixing hooks, lower right tip slightly bent inside, weight 132 g.
Together with: 4th class decoration, manufactured by Arthus-Bertrand in Paris, diam. 45.6 mm, 800/000 silver gilt and enamels, enamel chipping in the averse and reverse left tip of the upper arm, cracks in the white enamels of averse and reverse, bowl of the right tip of the lower arm slightly bent, with ribbon ring, weight 32.4 g, without breast ribbon (!).
Orden der Krone [Nishân-i-Taj] (1913). Set der 1. Klasse, Anfertigung der Firma Arthus-Bertrand in Paris, bestehend aus:

Bruststern, Durchmesser 92.1 mm, 800/000 Silber tlw. brillantiert, tlw. vergoldet, tlw. emailliert, min. Emaille-Abplatzung in der Zahl „2" des Medaillonrings, an Nadel, diese mit kombinierter Hersteller- und Silberpunze „800", mit zwei seitlichen Fixierhaken, unterer rechter Zacken leicht nach innen gebogen, Gewicht 132 g.
Zusammen mit: Dekoration der 4. Klasse, Anfertigung der Firma Arthus-Bertrand in Paris, Durchmesser 45.6 mm, 800/000 Silber vergoldet und emailliert, Emaille-Abplatzungen auf Avers und Revers der linken oberen Armspitze, Emaille-Sprünge in der weissen Emaille von Avers und Revers, ein Kügelchen am Ende der unteren rechten Armspitze etwas verbogen, am Bandring, Gewicht 32.4 g, ohne Brustband (!). Vorzüglich und sehr schön-vorzüglich / Extremely Fine and Good Very Fine-Extremely Fine. Im Etui / In box. (2)

The six class (collar, 1st to 5th class) general order for merit has been established in 1332 AH [1913] by Ahmad Shah Qajar (1898-1930, reigned from 1909 until 1925), based on the design of the Franch Order of the Legion of Honour. Its insigna are showing the so called Kiani-crown of the Qajar dynasty. It was taken over by the Pahlewi dynasty and reorganized in 1938/1939. After the Iranian Revolution in 1979 the order was abolished.

Der sechsklassige (Kollane, 1. bis 5. Klasse) allgemeine Verdienstorden wurde 1332 AH [1913] von Ahmad Shah Qajar (1898-1930, reg. von 1909 bis 1925) nach dem Vorbild des französischen Ordens der Ehrenlegion gestiftet. Die Insignien zeigen die damalige persische sog. Kiani-Krone der Qajar-Dynastie. Der Orden wurde von der Pahlewi Dynastie übernommen und 1938/1939 reorganisiert. In Folge der Iranischen Revolution 1979 wurde der Orden abgeschafft.
