4.18 g. Very rare. Tiny die flaw on rev. Attractive patina and bold striking. Extremely fine.
Silver coins stood in a fixed relation to gold coins. 15 light miliarenses were valued at 1 solidus. These silver pieces are so rare that they played no importance in the flow of currency, but were ´´festival coins´´ that were distributed as donatives.

Ex Auction Frank Sternberg X, Zurich, Nov. 1980. Lot 632. F. Sternberg wrote This specimen with the very large, finely cut cross containing a single pellet in its middle, shows clearly that in fact the cross is the main theme of the reverse depiction. The victorious angel is only an accompaniement to the victorious cross.
