Reign of Ali Bey (1299-1320ah / 1882-1902ce): Lot of 3 decorations: all with original ribbons
a. Commanding Officers Badge with long ribbon, 55.64g
b. a 2nd badge, same as the above, Both of the above decorations were also produced at the Tunis Mint and were stamped accordingly. It is interesting to note that both are dated "1291" an indication that these items had been made in large numbers during that year although the obverse, showing the name of the Bey in power, was to be added later.
c. a 3rd and small badge, made by Boullanger in Paris, 31.64g. Not all of the Tunisian decorations were produced by the Tunis Mint. The specifics on the reverse of this particular item clearly show that it was made in Paris. 58.77 g.

One large Nichan Iftikar decoration, 83.57g, in its original presentation box. Undoubtedly, a rare item.

c. 1 badge from the reign of Muhammed al-Habib, w/o ribbon, different style, Lots b and c have differing stamps ("poinçons") on the reverse leading one to believe that both probabaly came from an atelier in Paris, not in Tunis.
d. 1 document (certificate) that was presented to the recipient of a decoration in the year 1910, written in Arabic
e. 1 document (certificate) that was presented to the recipient of a decoration in the year 1930, written in French (during the reign of Ahmed Pasha Bey)
