Dies ist eine der wenigen Raritäten unter allen Dukaten der Provinz Holland, die nach 1722 geprägt wurden: Eine sehr seltene Variante des Dukaten von 1769 mit einem Punkt im Datum. Ein Artikel von L. M. J. Boegheim mit dem Titel "Een gouden dukaat uit 176.9! (176.9 Golddukaten)", veröffentlicht in der niederländischen numismatischen Zeitschrift "De Beldenaar" No. 2000-5, S. 227, ist der Entdeckung dieser Variante gewidmet.
