The Alliance of England, France, and the United Provinces in 1596 (Triple Alliance of 1596) was a significant diplomatic and military agreement during the Anglo-Spanish War (1585 - 1604) and the Eighty Years' War (1568 - 1648). This alliance was formed to counter the growing threat of Spain under Philip II, who was aggressively expanding his influence in Europe.

The alliance demonstrated England’s increasing role in European politics, helped secure France’s independence from Spanish domination and strengthened the Dutch Revolt, ensuring that the United Provinces would ultimately gain full independence in 1648.
