James II. 1685-1688. Satirische Silbermedaille 1689, 78.85 g. Auf seine Ankunft in Frankreich am 4. Januar. Stempel von J. Smeltzing. Belorbeerte und drapierte Büste nach links. Rv. Füchsin entzündet mit einer Fackel im Maul einen Baum, in dem ein Adler mit seinem Jungen im Nest sitzt, im Hintergrund fliegt ein Adler mit einem Jungfuchs im Schnabel. 60.2 mm. Eimer 303. van Loon III, 371. Saunders/Vanhoudt 1689-1. Sehr selten / Very rare. Vorzüglich-FDC / About Uncirculated.
