Qing Dynasty. Brass Amulet n. d., 39.20 g. Protective amulet. Text on both sides. 46.9 mm. Thickness: 2.5 mm. Grundmann 364. Sehr schön / Very Fine.
According to Grundman, page 56, the translation reads: "The mighty thunder shall kill demons, intimidate evil spirits, decapitate monsters, fight evil influences and provide lasting protection. The good spirits will obey Tai Shang lao Jun (=Laotse) and carry out his imperious orders with due haste."
