Description
Nomos c. 540-510 BC, (7.51 g, 12 h) POS retrograde, Poseidon walking right, wielding trident, chlamys draped over both arms. Rv. POS raised and retrograde, as obverse but incuse, no serpent. Gorini 31, 3 ans 214-215 (same dies) and Antiken Museum Basel 158. Selten / Rare. Vorzüglich / Extremely fine. Herrlicher spätarchaischer Stil. Alte Sammlungspatina / Wonderful late archaic style. Old collection's patina.
