Mit Münzvertrag vom 5. November 1805 wurde der einheimische Goldschmied Jost Freuler verpflichtet. Nur diese eine Variante des Schillings 1806 trägt das betreffende Münzzeichen. Alle anderen Glarner Münzen sind ohne Münzzeichen.
