Das Viertelfinalspiel zwischen Grossbritannien und Italien fand anlässlich der 17. Ausgabe der heutigen Davis Cups im Roehampton Lawn Tennis Club in London statt. Grossbritannien gewann das Spiel 4:1, schied später im Halbfinale gegen Spanien aus.
Frank L. Riseley, geb. 1877 in Bristol, gest. 6.2.1959, nahm ab 1892 an Tennisspielen teil. Sein grösster Erfolg war der Sieg im Doppel der Wimbledon Championships in den Jahren 1902 und 1906 an der Seite von Sydney Howard Smith.
