Order of the Sun and the Lion [Nishan-i-Schir-u-Khorschid]. 3rd model (1848-1939), division for civil and foreign persons (with resting lion), probably 6th-grade (Yawèr), 1st-class (for Iranians) resp. 4th-class decoration (for foreigners), 2nd edition (five-ray neck badge with surmounting agraffe), neck badge with diamonds, European manufacturing, diam. 62.4 mm, silver, centre gold, enamels and enamel painting, set with about 196 old cut diamond of various size (checked!), and 15 emeralds, 45.2 g, slightly soiled, with short ribbon.
