Order of the Sun and the Lion [Nishan-i-Schir-u-Khorschid]. 3rd model (1848-1939), division for (civil and) foreign persons (with resting lion), 3rd-class (six-ray) badge (for foreigners) with diamonds, Iranian manufacturing, diam. 77.2 mm, silver, partly gold-plated, centre with enamels and enamel painting, set with about 243 diamond roses and shards of various size (checked!), two missing, and 18 emeralds, 71.3 g, without neck ribbon.
