Order of the Sun and the Lion [Nishan-i-Schir-u-Khorschid]. 3rd model (1848-1939), division for civil and foreign persons (with resting lion), probably 2nd-grade (Amir Toumane), 2nd-class (for Iranians) resp. 2nd-class (for foreigners) breast star (with seven rays) with two rings around the centre, 2nd edition (without small stars between the rays), probably Iranian manufacturing, diam. 71.7 mm, silver brillanté, domed, centre with enamels and enamel painting, with seven attached rays in silver and enamels, one with chipping, with pin.
