Um 1921 sollte der Donaustaat ein Zusammenschluss ehemaliger Monarchien an der Donau werden. Die österreichisch-ungarische Bank liess deshalb bereits neue Nominale drucken, jedoch ohne Texte und ohne Währungsangaben. Der Staatenbund wurde allerdings nie realisiert, wodurch die vorbereiteten Banknoten für verschiedenen Klassenlotterien-Ausgaben überdruckt wurden / The Danube State was to become a union of former monarchies on the Danube. The Austro-Hungarian Bank therefore already had new nominal values printed, but without texts and without currency details. However, the Confederation was never realized, and the prepared banknotes were overprinted for various class lottery editions.
