Obv. D N THEODO - SIVS P F AVG Draped and cuirassed bust with pearl diadem to l.
Rev. GLORIA - ROMANORVM Nimbate emperor standing facing, head l., raising r. hand and holding globus in l. hand. Star in l. field. CON in exergue.

4.18 g. Very rare. Tiny die flaw on rev. Attractive patina and bold striking. Extremely fine.
Silver coins stood in a fixed relation to gold coins. 15 light miliarenses were valued at 1 solidus. These silver pieces are so rare that they played no importance in the flow of currency, but were ´´festival coins´´ that were distributed as donatives.
