Solidus January - October 425. No officina letter.
Obv. DN THEODO - SIVS PF AVG Helmeted, cuirassed bust facing head turned slightly to r. Spear over r. shoulder, shield with horseman device on l. shoulder.
Rev. SALVS REI - - - PVB LICAE Theodosius II enthroned and Valentinian III standing, both facing, each holding cross and mappa. Emperors not nimbate. Three dots above the head of Theodosius II. CONOB in exergue.

Commemorating the joint consulship of Theodosius II and Valentinian III, the latter not yet augustus. (Grierson/Mays).
RIC p. 77: This was not an issue commemorating Valentinian´s caesarship, rather the purpose was to finance the Italian expedition of that year.
