Details

According to Tammann (in TRP p. 30–31) Julius 'Ivan' Eduard Keibel (1825–1882), son of Johann Wilhelm Keibel (1788–1862), since 1841 the only official supplier of orders' insignia to the Russian 'Chapter of the Imperial and Royal Orders', learned with his father and became a master in 1844. After the death of his father in 1862 he took over the firm. Julius Keibel died in 1882 and was succeeded by his son Albert Konstantin Keibel (1854–1910).
Due to the combination of the marks on this cross, it’s fabrication can be narrowed down to the period between 1865 and 1882.
Комбинация клейм позволяет отнести изготовление к периоду с 1865 по 1882 г.
