Gold medal 1797. Coronation of Paul I, 1797. 121.00 g. Diameter 64.5-64.7 mm. Thickness - 2.6 mm. Engraver - Empress Maria Feodorovna. Obv. By the Grace of God Paul I Emperor and Autocrat of All Russia. Wigged and uniformed bust of Paul I right, signed MAPI?. P. 1797. ?. (Cut by Maria. 1797). Rev. Broad cross in plain field. 121.00 g. 64.5-64.7 mm. 121.00 g. Cf. Diakov 243.1 (R3) - nur in Silber. Excessively rare!!! Such a medal was not in the collection of the Grand Duke Geo Choice extremely fine with still remaining mint lustre. Slightly bent.
