State notes Muntbiljet 10 Gulden of 1. May 1870. Obverse: Blackprinting on beige paper. Frame of allegorical figures and cherubs, state arms above. Value and serial number in field. As well as two signatures (incl. Minister of Finance van Bosse). Reverse: Blue inner frame with state arms held by two lions. Wreath of leaves. Oval violet stamp. 5.00 g. Akkermans/Vercoulen 22.7. Pick A20. Of high rarity. IV. Heavily circulated. Multiple folds. Several small pin pricks.

The concept for this bank note was made 1852 by the engraver J. D. Steuerwald. Printing was done by Joh. Enschedé en Zonen. Valid until 1 October 1904.
