This piece with eleven leaves in the rear fillet and a plain edge (WR 280 - as also shown on the NGC label) is one of the high rarities of the different Una and the Lion varieties. Wilson and Rasmussen indicate its rarity with 7, which in their opinion means 1-2 pieces were struck. One piece was sold in the Distinguished Collection formed by Captain K. J. Douglas-Morris, at the Sothebys auction in London in November 1974, lot 231. This coin type was also sold during the famous auctions of Murchoch and Montagu in London.
