Medal for Valour. Gold medal (Gold) 18.24 g. Issue with the portrait of Ahmad Shah Qajar (1898-1930, reigning from 1909 to 1925). In the weight of 5 Tomans. Edition 1337 AH (1918/1919 AD). Not intended to be worn. BWK3 39. Extremely rare. NGC UNC Details. Mount removed.

This medal was issued at the end of the Great War in Persia (1914-1918/19). It exists in gold, silver, and bronze. During the Great War, Anglo-Russian troops on one side and Ottoman troops on the other occupied parts of Persia.
