Bronze medal 1742. Coronation of Elizabeth. Dies by J. G. Waechter. Crowned bust in mantle right, no signature below the bust. Rv. Angel in clouds crowns Elizabeth, to right a kneeling woman holding a shield and a flaming heart, the monograms of Peter I and Elizabeth on columns right, above exergue I.G.W.F. for Waechter) and KONHR (for copy). Probably struck in the 19th century. 60.4 mm. 99.97 g. Diakov 86.1/86.6. Rare variety. Extremely fine. Tiny edge nick.
