Crowned facing bust of Theodora in loros, in r. hand globus with patriarchal cross, in l. hand cruciform sceptre. Rev. Crowned busts of Michael III on l. and his sister Thecla on r. Michael is wearing chlamys and holding globus cruciger in r. hand. Thecla is wearing loros and holding long patriarchal cross in r. hand. 4.41 g. Sear 1686. DOC 1d2. Very rare. Well struck and centered. Very attractive specimen. About uncirculated.
